兔妈妈走后，小白兔们开心的在家里玩.
不一会儿，噔噔响起了敲门声，“小兔儿乖乖，把门开开妈妈要回来。”
“是妈妈！”兔子小美要去开门。

“好像是大灰狼！”兔子雪儿说，“让我看看！呀！不是妈妈！不开不开就不开，妈妈没回来！”
于是，大灰狼把全身都涂成了白色.又来敲门：“小兔儿乖乖，把门开开妈妈要回来。”
小白兔说：“你把尾巴伸进来，我们看是不是妈妈！”
大灰狼把尾巴伸进了门口的小缝里，兔子们一看是大灰狼，把门一关，大灰狼的尾巴被夹住了。兔妈妈正好回来了，拿木棒达大灰狼的头，大灰狼一使劲，把尾巴挣断了！
从此，兔妈妈和小兔们，快乐的生活在一起.

Once upon a time a Wolf was lapping at a spring on a hillside, when, looking up, what should he see but a Lamb just beginning to drink a little lower down. ‘There’s my supper,’ thought he, ‘if only I can find some excuse to seize it.’ Then he called out to the Lamb, ‘How dare you muddle the water from which I am drinking?’

‘Nay, master, nay,’ said Lambikin; ‘if the water be muddy up there, I cannot be the cause of it, for it runs down from you to me.’

‘Well, then,’ said the Wolf, ‘why did you call me bad names this time last year?’

‘That cannot be,’ said the Lamb; ‘I am only six months old.’

The Fox and the Crow

A Fox once saw a Crow fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree. ‘That’s for me, as I am a Fox,’ said Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree. ‘Good-day, Mistress Crow,’ he cried. ‘How well you are looking to-day: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eye.
