              The Mole and His Mother

              A MOLE, a creature blind from birth, once said to his Mother: I am sure than I can see, Mother! In the desire to prove to him his mistake, his Mother placed before him a few grains of frankincense, and asked, What is it?' The young Mole said, It is a pebble. His Mother exclaimed: My son, I am afraid that you are not only blind, but that you have lost your sense of smell.

              小鼹鼠和妈妈

              传说鼹鼠的眼睛是瞎的,可小鼹鼠却对妈妈说他能看得见。妈想试验他一下,便拿来一 小块香喷喷的食物,放在他面前,并问他是什么。他说是一颗小石头。母亲说:“啊,不幸 的孩子,你不但眼睛看不见,连鼻子也没用了。” 这故事是说,那些爱吹牛说大话的人,常常夸海口能做大事,却在一些微不足道的事情 上暴露了本质。



              The wolf and the hares
              The wind is blowing . It is snowing . The wolf is coming and say : “ I’m a wolf , I’m hungry .” The wolf is going the hares. “ open the door .” The hare say: “ who is it ?” the wolf say : “it’s me , Grandma .” “Grandma ? No, it’s not Grandma .” The wolf comes to the hares’ again , with a basket of bread. . “ open the door . I bring you bread” The hares say to their sister : “Ah! It’s the wolf . we can’t open the door .” The wolf is very angry . He is hitting at the door . “Open the door ! I want to come in !” The hares say : “ you are the wolf . we can’t let you in !” the hares are very clever .

              狼和野兔

              天正刮着风下着雪。狼出来了,他很饿。他来到了野兔家“开门”。野兔问:“是谁呀?”“是我,我是你的外婆。”“外婆?不,不是。”狼又拿来了甜品来了,“快开门,我带来了面包。” 野兔对他的姐妹们说:“他是狼,我们不开门。”狼很生气,他踢着门说:“快开门!我要进去!”野兔说:“你是狼,我们不让你进来。”野兔真聪明。



              狮子与报恩的老鼠(The lion and the mouse) 09:58When a lion was asleep, a little mouse began running up and down beside him. This soon wakened the lion. He was very angry, and caught the mouse in his paws.




              Forgive me, please. cried the little mouse. I may be able to help you someday. The lion was tickled at these words.

              He thought, How could this little mouse help me? However he lifted up his paws and let him go.

              A few days later, the lion was caught in a trap.

              The hunters wanted to take him alive to the king, so they tied him to a tree, and went away to look for a wagon.

              Just then the little mouse passed by, and saw the sad lion.

              He went up to him, and soon gnawed away the ropes. Was I not right? asked the little mouse.

              狮子与报恩的老鼠


              ●狮子睡着了,有只老鼠在他的周围爬上爬下,很快吵醒了狮子,狮子很生气,一把抓住了老鼠。

              ●“饶了我吧,”老鼠请求说,“也许有一天我能帮上你的忙呢。”狮子觉得很好笑,他想:“这只小老鼠怎么能帮上我的忙?”但他还是抬起爪子放他走了。

              ●不久,狮子被陷阱困住了。猎人们想将活狮子献给国王,就把他捆在一棵大树上,然后去找马车。

              ●这时,老鼠路过这里,看到了绝望中的狮子。他走过去,很快啃断了绳索,说:“我虽小,可是我也能帮上你的忙。”
              寓意: 有些朋友也许平时看似微不足道,但却有可能在我们身处困境的时候提供巨大的帮助。
